Each year, Sheila over at Book Journey makes a big deal over what the first book shell read will be for the new year and once again shes asked us to join her. I joined in last year and it was a lot of fun seeing what book everyone selected.
For my first book of the year, I decided to go with a book that Im probably one of the last people to read...one that I really need to read before the movie comes out...have you guessed yet?
Im going to be reading: Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. Ive read so many of her other books (The Girl You Left Behind, The Last Letter From Your Lover, The Ship of Brides, One Plus One) and have had this one sitting on my shelf for over 2 years Im embarrassed to say, but I just havent gotten around to reading it. I know its a great book, but its also an emotional read, so I think for that reason, I just kept putting it off. So, I thought this would be the perfect time to read it.
Im looking forward to starting it...and reading the sequel, which I also have, just sitting on my shelf, waiting for me to find the time to read it (do you sense a theme here?)...
